What this is
AISharedResponsibility.com is a community-built educational resource for practitioners working with the CoSAI AI Shared Responsibility Framework. It explains the five-layer model, the eight stakeholder personas, and the operating model responsibility matrix to four audiences: vendors, customers, consultants, and end users.
The underlying framework document is produced by the Coalition for Secure AI (CoSAI), Workstream 2: AI Shared Responsibility Framework, under the OASIS Open standards process. V1.0 was published on May 28, 2026 and is available as a PDF from CoSAI.
The wizard tools
The assessment wizards linked from this site live in the
cosai-wizards open-source repository. They are offered
as a prospective contribution to CoSAI under OASIS Open. Until that
transfer is complete, they are published under the Apache License 2.0.
The wizards run entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server.
State is persisted in localStorage and exportable as JSON.
There are no analytics, no cookies, and no external font or script loads
at runtime.
Contributing
Both this site and the wizard tools are open source. The most useful contributions right now are:
Corrections to the regulations reference page, particularly updating
last_verified dates and adding regulations that are missing.
Pull requests against data/regulations.json are the
fastest path.
Translations. The framework is relevant globally and the site structure is straightforward to localize.
Corrections to persona responsibilities or layer descriptions as the CoSAI framework evolves beyond V1.0.
